Yes. All our tutors follow a very strict on-boarding, orientation and verification process. They also have to take subject proficiency tests which help us understand their expertise in the particular subject. Regular feedback is taken from the parents after each demo and tutoring sessions which helps us rate the tutors and assure you of the best quality.

Yes. Once you shortlist a tutor, our counseling team helps you schedule a Free Demo class. It is a 1-hour interaction session wherein both of you get to meet & interact with each other. An ideal session will have a 10 mins Benchmark Test by the student, 20 mins Test evaluation and interaction with the tutor and 30 mins of tutoring on a chosen topic. The benchmark test is a short MCQ test based on the previous standard’s syllabus which the child needs to take from the tutor’s smartphone. An instantaneous report is generated post the test which helps the tutor understand the child’s current grasp on the subject and the areas s/he needs to improve upon. Based on this, the tutor can chalk out a personalized learning plan and modify his/her teaching methodology for maximum benefit.

Yes. As part of the service offering, the student gets access to online study content and assessments. S/he also gets curated study notes & questions banks from our content partners – Oswaal & Target Publications (Available for select board & class only). You can also track your child’s learning progress in real-time via the Genext Parent App which can be downloaded from Play Store or App Store. The online study content can be accessed via our Website or Android Student Study App

The fees for each tutoring assignment differs based on multiple factors like the board, class, number of subjects, number of hours and frequency of the classes, etc. Our counseling team will give you an indication of the same based on your detailed requirements before fixing the demo and a confirmed hourly fee rate at the time of a connect (before the tutoring assignment starts). Note that based on the package purchased, the hours utilized is calculated depends on the hours actually tutored and hence in a case where the tutor misses a session, you are not liable to make any payment & the hours are not deducted.

You can purchase a package suitable to you based on the duration of your tutoring requirement. We run attractive discount schemes from time to time for high hours’ packages. The tutor marks attendance for each tutoring session and the total hours utilized are deducted from the package accordingly. You can keep a track of the same from the Attendance section of the Genext Parent Mobile App. A weekly update is also sent to your email id. For continuous uninterrupted service, you can renew your package before exhausting the said hours. You can pay via any online medium (NEFT, Credit Card, Debit Card) directly from the link in the SMS or from the “Payment” section of the Genext Parent Mobile App.

Payment is to be made to Genext Students only. This is to safeguard the interest of your tutoring assignment and assurance of continued service. Genext Students will not be responsible for any payment made directly to the tutor.

If for some reason the tutor is not able to come for a particular class, you are not liable to pay for the said session as the attendance for that class will not be marked & hence not counted. You can request for a compensation class if possible, which will be counted.

In rare occasions where a tutor has to leave mid-way, we will provide a replacement tutor at the earliest. Inform the Genext Students team immediately.

Yes, you can request the tutor to take additional classes, especially if the child is struggling or during exams. It will depend upon the tutor’s schedule / availability whether s/he can take the extra session. The attendance for the extra session(s) will be marked and counted in the hours utilized. Check the details about the extra sessions via Genext Parent App and raise a concern in there is any issue to avoid discrepancies later.

Yes. You can refer your friends and family and earn reward points which can be redeemed against e-gift vouchers and recharge vouchers. Click on the “Refer & Earn” section in the Genext Parent App, copy your unique reference code and share it via the below available options. Note that your friend will have to input the code at the time of posting the query. You will earn the reward points once your friend hires a Genext Tutor.
